Longest necks on their own? Probably CTI 17” or BSA 17”, but these are quite round.

I prefer Tuftex 17” because of their traditional shape and a good neck size.

This is my line of reasoning as well. I have had better overall luck with assorted colors of Tuftex balloons (17” and 24”) than with single colors.

My experience with Rifco balloons is that I have to inflate them to be firm (but not super tight) and play with them to soften them. After that, they are quite soft.

Correct. BSA are rather firm. They neck nicely, but they’re also rounder when compared with Tuf-Tex.

If this is true, then perhaps we can expect Tuf-Tex balloons to last longer in storage.

The shape of Tuf-Tex + the longevity and smooth texture of Qualatex is fine by me. :)

I have experienced the same with 17-inch balloons. They were marketed as “Party-Tex” or “party style” and different from normal Tuf-Tex. I hope this was the case rather than a formula change to all...

I’d vote GL1200. Given how it’s squished under his weight, I’m guessing it has more room to grow, which would make it too big to be a GL700.
