Re: Large Rifco balloons outside looner circles

GL500s or similar do appear in party shops with prints on them as "banner balloons". The giant dolls, again printed, turn up sometimes in large party stores with themed decorations, usually Halloween.

Re: which is your favourite balloon?

I think my favourites are TufTex 17"s with Unique 16"s being a close second.

Re: Are orange ones usually bigger and/or stronger?

Does anyone actually know why the different colours are stronger or bigger? I've noticed orange Uniques are stronger than other colours but only marginally so. It does seem more pronounced with...

Are orange ones usually bigger and/or stronger?

I've noticed over the years that orange balloons are often just a little bit stronger or larger (or both!) than most other colours. I noticed it especially last night with some TufTex 17s. I simply...

Re: How do you say blowing up a balloon or BTP in another language?

There are definitely slightly different meanings associated with "pop" versus "bang" versus "burst". Part of this is because "pop" is a verb as well as a noun. So: "I'm about to pop this balloon"...

Re: Instruments

I played synth pads (and bass line) in a church band for many years. I have an older collectable workstation sampler (Ensoniq ASR-10). Haven't played in a while, though.

Computerised music...

Re: You can purchase new Qualtex 24"

Gives you an idea not only of their manufacturing scale but also how many balloons of all sizes they probably make a day. And I'm not surprised they have kept the molds; they'd be worth thousands of...

Re: Your First Big Balloon

My first genuinely big balloon was from a packet of "giant balloons" from Alpen. They're paddles something like 14" by 16". Their advantage was that they appeared from time to time in stores...

Re: Sex with a Balloon (i.e. Penis in a balloon) Question

Anatomy differs between people, and that includes how big you get. I've put balloons on as you described and had my fun that way. If you have some tubing and some strong and dextrous fingers, you can...

Re: Drawing on balloons

Permanent markers are the usual go to but paint should work, too. You want something that will write on any surface because stretched latex is a difficult surface. Water-based media will not work...

Re: Larger sized Geo Donuts?

I read somewhere they glue a seam together. Which would be part of why they patented the design.

Re: Unique 16 gone?

They might make them in batches and wait for stock to get low before doing another batch.

Re: Calling all looner crossdressers!

Well, they're large and sturdy, but not specially acquired. :-) Remember that 1.6kg of water is 1.6L - in a balloon, that's a sphere about 4 or 5 inches diameter. So they're severely under-inflated!

Re: Calling all looner crossdressers!

I wear balloons in a bra. I've been doing it long enough that I can make them look realistic. I use 10" or 12" balloons filled with water and measure their size by weight, generally between 1.6kg and...

Re: Calling all looner crossdressers!

I've found buttons are not simple. Skirts are easier to make - especially in stretch fabric where you don't need a zip or catch!

Re: Calling all looner crossdressers!

I frequently wear a skirt. I've got a few, many that I've made myself.

Re: MC Donalds Balloons 2019

They've been 9" or 10" balloons here for as long as I can remember. I suspect they get them specially made because they have a slightly distinctive shape.

Re: Your accidental pops

I've had a number of accidental pops. But one of the most memorable was a Q24. First one I ever got - I think I ordered it by accident, not realizing what it was! (I know - how on earth could I do...

Re: What car does everyone drive?

I get around a lot with walking or the local train, but I do have a car. Until about 6 weeks ago, I had a 1982 Porsche 924 which I basically maintained, with some small repairs (mostly electrical). ...

Re: Does size matter

Although I answered earlier, I find 16"/17" is my go-to size for a random balloon, usually Unique or Tuf-tex. It's just enough bigger than the common 12" party balloons: a bit more work to blow one...

Re: Strange pump to pop. Btp

I kind of like this idea. I've got a small aquarium pump somewhere I bought for this sort of thing. Takes hours to blow a Q36, though. And it's so small that I'm not sure it would be able to pop one!...

Re: What are these?

Bambi Blaze is a bit of a legendary name in BE for these sorts of videos. I'd say there's a high probability that the depicted inflatables are custom.

They do look a mighty impressive item,...
