How long do your balloons generally last?

One of my balloons I've had for a little over a month, now.

      Hi there,
It depends on what you mean. If you mean after I purchased them it can be quite a long time for some of them.
However if you mean after I take a balloon from the bag it is only a short while - minutes. For obvious reasons bigger balloons last longer than the smaller ones.

The time is used for blowing and in between admiring how big and tight the balloon is - and to enjoy how it makes me feel.

Thank you for reading my posting.

      Sincerely
      Susie

I bet mine could last a while except that if I perspire a lot onto them, the filthy appearance turns me off reusing them, so I've pretty much gotten into the habit of just popping them after I'm 'done'.

I've got balloons in my collection that I've had for a year or 2. But once they're inflated they only survive a few hours...maybe overnight if they're lucky

Usually not very long , maybe an hour or 2 , then i take scissors and cut the mouth piece, or on a rare occasion i like to use a long sewing needle and bust my balloon ,just something about using a needle to bust a big balloon that gets me hot
            The bigger the better

I'll buy them and keep them stored for years but once they're inflated, anywhere from 5 minutes to a few weeks.

They don't survive nearly as long when I have a girl over though

A week from tomorrow, I'll be able to see if my balloons can last for three months.

I couldn't put a duration on this but I I would get around 3 maybe 4 play sessions out of them. The big balloons, that is. I'm a non/semi popper but have been told I am rough with them so I'm not really surprised they don't last longer

Storage time - up to a year or so.
Play time? Usually less than an hour, unless it's some really big balloon that can withstand quite a bit of abuse.

Most of my balloons last over three months as I only play with the biggest balloons. I’ve generally been able to use a GL1200 for about two months until they are too weak and just split down the middle. As for the giant round balloons such as the Cattex 72s and Czemark & Ferger 82s, they generally last well over 3 months if you don’t overinflate them. Right now, I have a Cattex 72 that has been inflated to around 65 inch for over three months now that still feels fairly strong and able to support my weight bouncing on it. One of the tricks to keeping balloons longer is to put hi float in it before inflating and then putting protectants such as qualatex balloon shine or 303 aerospace protectant on the outside. This way, you stop oxidization both inside and outside, thus allowing the balloon to last much much longer. I once kept a gummiwerk 82 inflated for over 6 months and it was still pretty strong when I finally deflated it due to lack of space.

Okay, I can now say that I have some balloons (12 inches) that lasted over three months.

From 5 to 20 minutes between the first blow until the explosion, just pausing a little to admire the balloon.

The working balloons that I have are like 6 months to 2 years old. Many are still uninflated. I tend to use balloons until they become worn out, deformed or just pop.

I do have other balloons that are really old (8+ years old). Those that were inflated from that batch can still be inflated. A lot were never inflated, too, and I could not let them inflate anymore as they're too stiff or just outright pop when inflated in any way (like 1/5th of the rated size).
