A few shots of vodka first. Warm feeling, love the popping and adds extra tingle to the enevitable mastrubation. Only way I can do it yet

to lose fear it is best not to do it alone. I explain nothing better than to see another blowing and you blow both competition and fear at first without hurry after the first becomes very fun addictive and no longer scared but I have to admit that you will first be the one who will most nerves give.

Re: Help me lose my fear of doing a B2P!

          Hi there,

When I was young I so wanted to become able to blow up balloons until they pop, because this was the most scary I could at all imagine doing with a balloon. I had the idea, that if I could only do this, I would never ever be scared of balloons anymore. I would be cured for both my phobia and those strange sexual feelings that had developed and made me feel kind of 'not normal'. As it went I did get able to blow to pop balloons - actually there is no kind of balloon I do not dare to blow to pop (as far as I know). I also got cured from my phobia, even though my fear is still there. It is more so, that I have learned to control the fear and instead interprete it as kind of thrill and excitement. For what it is worth I will give you some ideas based on my experiences.
First you need to know that blow to pop is almost entirely a mental thing. When you think about it logically it is no big deal really. The bang isn't that loud compared to loud music or other loud noises we are quite used to and even enjoy. The pop is not so dangerous either. You are not likely to be hit in your face as long as you use round balloons as these almost always pop away from you. Besides you can wear earplugs and goggles/glasses to eliminate these 'dangers'. Finally it is so that when you blow up a balloon and it suddenly pops, then it is all over. The danger - and also the fear - is gone before you can even blink an eye. Now to some practical things you can consider:

          1. Don't make the mistake of starting out with small balloons. Small balloons get very tight, and you will feel the 'risk' of them popping any moment very strongly. To keep blowing such a balloon will demand huge determination - most likely more than you can muster. Instead get yourself some bigger balloons. With such balloons there is always a chance that they will take an extra blow and thereby demand less mental effort from you. Choose some balloons that are not so strong; I would suggest Unique 14" or 16" as these are not very strong and are easy to blow all the way until 'the end'.

          2. Don't confuse succes with failure. At some point a balloon will pop while you are blowing it up. If this happens then remember that this is exactly what you want. You have succeeded! This is also the case if the balloon pops 'prematurely' - you have blown the balloon up until it popped, right? Remember this

3 Balloons - even not so strong ones like the Uniques - still are able to take much more blowing than most people think. No matter how many video clips you have watched you will still be amazed when you are doing the blowing yourself.

          4. Be patient. Being a mental thing it is not something you will get through 'just like that'. You need to know that it will be a slow progress. However I promise you that you will succeed. I did, and I was so scared of balloons that even writing or reading the word 'balloon' made me tremble from fear. You will definately succeed

          5. Here is how I worked with it: Start blowing up a balloon as far as you dare (in the beginning I only dared to just start it). Then simply hold the balloon and look at it. Get used to it, and after a little while you will feel condifident that it is not going to pop right away. This will make you a little calmer, and maybe you will manage to overcome blowing just one extra breath into the balloon. Then stop again and wait until you feel safe, that the balloon won't pop this time either. Keep going as long as you at all dare. When you no longer dare to blow anymore then look at the balloon for a while and admire your work for as long as you dare. Even if you only dared one extra blow or maybe even none you have added to your confidence in the balloon and thereby also yourself. Then simply let the air out and save the balloon to another day.
Next time use the very same balloon. Now you know how big it will at least go, and the chances are that you will be just a little bit calmer and dare to blow the balloon just a little bigger than last time. Simply repeat the above exercise. As time goes by the balloon will get softer and easier to blow up. It will also become somewhat more fragile, and at some point it will probably pop while you are blowing into it. You have succeeded!
Then repeat with another balloon. You can also have more balloons going in the same 'exercise tour' if that makes any sense. I would suggest that you use only one balloon for each 'blow-to-pop-practise-tour’ though as it is important that you sort of get to know your balloon and build up some confidence in it.
The whole idea with this exercise is mental: You need to very slowly push your limits without overstepping them. I did it all on my own (I didn't dare to tell anybody about my balloon 'thing' and besides I had been teased with very much due to my fear of balloons), but if you have a really really good friend it might help you along. It is extremely important to just push your limits and not overstep them, and this takes a very very good and extremely patient friend for sure! You can maybe do it with an online friend through a messenger or something - this will make it easier for you to be in control and not being pushed beyond your limits.

          6. When you succeed you will most likely get somewhat the same feeling as I did - something like: 'That wasn't so bad, I can do this again right away'! Well, you will most likely find out that this isn’t the case. However don't let this discourage you. Instead notice that even though you cannot bring it over yourself to make another blow to pop you are now able to blow the balloon bigger than earlier before you lose your nerve. Then repeat the above exercise. Be patient and allow yourself to enjoy your progress - you are getting braver all the time!

          7. At some point you will finally be able not to stop before the balloon pops and thereby blow the balloon to pop on purpose. You have almost reached your goal, but you have to keep practising it over and over, until you can do it each and every time with a balloon 'fresh from the bag'.

          8. When you have finally come so far you will probably realise that you haven't really lost your fear, - it is more that you have learned to control it. However you will also find that you have become much braver with balloons than most people, and maybe you will even enjoy it. This was what happened to me; today I cannot think of anything better to do with a balloon than trying to see how big I can blow it up before it pops - and the louder the better. Amazing how we can change!

Finally I will thank you for reading this far, and I wish you the best of luck with overcoming your fear Be patient - you will succeed and become a - seemingly - fearless 'balloon-blow-to-popper'.

Have fun: KNUS (Danish for hugs)

Thanks for the advice. I remember talking with you a few years ago. Since then I've been able to overinflate them without fear but haven't managed to pop them yet. Just need more practice.
How big will it go? Only one way to find out...

Just a quick tip for this point. What usually stops me at this point is the amount of time it takes to start blowing up a new balloon. If you have one blown up to rated size already, you might be able to pop the second balloon as well, before the adrenaline rush from the first balloon ends.

Re: Help me lose my fear of doing a B2P!

Hello guys newbie here but I want to thank you so much guys.

For years I've been struggling with phobia of balloons, but managed to overcome it, in some ways so o became pretty much comfortable with popping by myself (in a controlled way) but never managed to b2p anything, most of the times I chickened out too early or well, I popped befor the balloon but that changed yesterday due to some of your experiences and advices and I managed my first b2p (store bought balloon, blown up few times before).

The thing that actually helped me a lot was doing it in front of a mirror, I just sat down there, made myself comfortable and started blowing. It was different, from the first second of the whole act. I was not afraid nor I run away from way before. I used to watch b2p videos for years, as some sort of porn (sorry for being naughty) and always really enjoyed it, especially when the ballons got really big (she small ones, I'm not really into big balloons, but if the 9/12 inch is made far beyond it supposed size than it can be super arousing). And there was the difference, I was not really concentrating on myself and the balloon, but I watched myself in the mirror and it was kinda similar to those videos that I watched back (yes and I put on a hoodie and glasses, which I normally don't do, so I looked like a different person). The moment that I started blowing it felt so good, like watching a live video and the bigger the ball on was the more I was cheering inside for that person to blow more and more and more.... BANG. And it was done. My first blow to pop. Immediately after I wanted to do one more, and I almost did it, but as always before, I popped first but the ball on was actually 1-2 small blows from popping.

Also to mention, I zoomed in a replay from someone there (sorry it turned off later when I finished and I couldn't find it back again to thank that person ) with a words "blow, and blow, don't stop, until it pops) and I was watching on them as well. So thank you guys for all of your help.

And today, I managed to b2p more of them, as a part of balloon game with dice (move, and than throw the dice again to know which way to pop palloons it the game tells you). I was playing just by myself, or better said, I played for both of the players, after some other ways to pop I was supposed to b2p two one after another... And I did it! The same way than yesterday! After some time of playing I committed myself to stop popping them other ways and do the b2p all the time I was supposed to pop some. And it worked, slowly but surely I could torn down my cell phone and just the mirror stay, than even that mirror was not necessary. BOOM. Actually many booms, I stopped counting but there were at least 30 b2p's, and I moved from old stretched ones to just a little stretched and finally to completely new balloons. Some of them got so huge that I couldn't believe (even after few years of overinflating without popping).

And now I'm so happy, really thank you guys. And sorry for it being so long.

I havent done a B2P as well and would like to try it, is it better to use a lower quality balloon for this? This way either it pops prematurely or the pop wouldnt be as loud.

I think it depends on why you're hesitant to B2P. Using a lower quality / thinner balloon makes the mechanical process of creating the pop easier (you don't have to blow as hard at the end, all else being equal), and as you say the pop will be a bit less loud because the pressure doesn't build up as much. But at the decibel range of B2Ps the difference in volume might not be hugely noticeable between, for example, a Unique 12" and a Qualatex 11", they're both going to be LOUD if the balloon is fresh. The Qtex will take a lot more force and build up rock-hard pressure, though, and will blow with a thunderclap-like concussion compared to the Unique.

You can also get this same effect by using (any) balloons that have been fully inflated many times previously -- they get softer and thinner and mimic lower quality balloons.

Aside from the loudness, though, the thing you sacrifice is predictability. For me, that's one of the hardest obstacles for B2P because I like to be more certain when the pop is going to happen. With softer, thinner balloons there is a much wider range of how much air they can take and long-tail events (like premature pops but on the other end, also balloons that seem to keep growing forever, far past what you expected) add to the excitement but also the nerves.

Probably for most folks, though, doing a first ever B2P is probably made easiest by using a non-decorator-brand balloon in a relatively small size (like a Unique or Amscan 12). The smaller size adds some predictability to when the balloon will pop, and the thinner but still mostly reliable latex means the pressures required to finish the job are not too high and takes the edge off the bang just a little.

Oh and one last thing. A rule of thumb for B2P is that a balloon usually will take about an equal amount of air after it reaches rated size as before. So if you're B2Ping by mouth, you can count the breaths to get an approximate sense of how close you are, using rated size as the halfway point. For me, say, it typically takes 4-5 big breaths to get a 12" balloon to rated size. Then I know that I have approximately another 4-5 breaths left after that (though of course, sometimes they succumb after 2-3 and sometimes they'll take 6-7 ... or even more?).

And of course, ear protection and eye protection are good ideas! Let us know if you try it.

Maybe I can help by sharing my recent experience of making massive progress towards "carefree" b2ps.

For me, it came down to knowing what you want to do TO the balloon, rather than achieving a b2p for yourself. It may sound weird but focusing on wanting to "hurt" the balloon, wanting to maximize the stress, pressure, "pain", whatever of it

I'm very comfortable with holding the balloon against my chest to feel the rising pressure. You can actually feel when it's about to pop. That also kinda gets me going, so I guess I am a balloon torturer now

It may be personal preference but by choosing to become the master rather than the frightful slave I can now do b2ps with this method....

I used 12" and 14" Uniques for this. They are rather soft but very responsive in terms of knowing when they are about to pop.

Thanks for reading, I hope my views can help want-to-be poppers
