For me personally I like crystal balloons because my wife will sit on them or hold them to her and I can see through them and its a real turn on. Although any balloon I can get my hands on I love.
I have noticed that crystals can sometimes be a little softer than a pastel. But some pastels especially pink and cream can be super soft and get massive.

I enjoy Crystal colours, but they do seem to be more fragile than Standard colours. The fact you can see through them is great, but filling them with Hi-Float when you use helium, does mean that it can "dull" them.

That's the main two reasons, along with the price difference (as they're usually more expenisve too), why I prefer Standard Colours to Crystal ones.

Crystals do tend to be a abit mnore volitile than solids i have found.
But that being said they are damned sexy when pumped up so they dont go misty !
