found a balloon hanging on a lantern outside

i just found a red balloon hanging outside on a lantern today.
i waited till dark to grab it and take it home.
it was the only balloon left inflated.

i washed and cleaned it befor i got the knot out and blew it to its max and tied it again.
the moment i saw the balloon i thought balloons need to be popped and not deflate over time:P

has anyone els done this befor???
did you pop it outside?
bring it home?
i wonder what the fetish makes you think and feel.

How big was it? Did you pop it? I’ve done that a couple of times but usually take them my heart would be racing and pop them

When I would find a balloon outside, tied to a lantern, I would leave it there. I would guess it was there for a kids party, perhaps a treasure hunt or something like that. I wouldn't spoil their fun by removing the balloon.
If it was a random balloon floating around, I would perhaps stomp it to pop it.
I would never untie an inflated balloon and reinflate it, I would be too scared to get a disease from it. Especially in these covid times.

wasnt tied just stuck.
others where popped or deflated.
and most where deflated so have been their voor a while.
i agree on the danger of covid. thats why i made sure it was clean
boiling water always does the trick and makes them get a bit bigger then normal..

i didnt pop it yet do..

still a fun topic.

i would never take birthday balloons away from a party.

This is the time of year in the lead-up to Halloween when some idiots try to scare people (I guess) by putting out a red helium balloon on a string next to drains etc. - in reference to the Stephen King book / movie “IT”.

At least it was reported a few years ago. ��

If I saw that, I would go up and just pop it with my fingers real quick - remove the string and put it in the trash. I would hate to think it’s scaring kids or something. Anything that uses balloons to scare / hurt people is not cool. Balloons are very fun and shouldn’t be given a bad name.
