Re: Are you into necking balloons?
I do love a good neck on my balloon, but if a loon can't possibly get a neck, it's not a deal breaker. -

Yeahp, The best part of the balloon is the neck!
Love to strech a brand new balloon and blow it hard, trying to get the biggest neck ever and felling it very tight, just pushing more and more air until it explodes loudly.Comment

The bigger the neck the happier (and hornier) I am!
I love pear shaped balloons. I'm not a fan of the globe-shaped round fluted kind that never get a good neck.Comment

Re: Are you into necking balloons?
I'll come out in the "slightly" camp even as a blow to pop fanatic. I definitely don't like an "artificial" neck, and it's something of a turn off to see a model stretching and pre-inflating the neck of a balloon before the real inflation... it feels like "faking" how large the balloon will be. I love to blow to pop large balloons, and love it when they start to get teardrop shaped or a little pointy toward the neck... but I don't like a big long distended neck.
A balloon generally has to have super tight, hard latex to develop a big long neck. I like taking big balloons and pushing them absolutely as large as possible, which usually means 4-6 big inflations to strech them out before blowing all the way to pop. By that point, the balloons get huge, but all of the latex stretches fully and the necks just sort of blend into the teardrop shape. It's hard to describe, but to me, a long distended neck is just a sign of a balloon that is too fresh and tight, and could have gotten bigger with some more work! I love Tuftex 24's, and while they will neck dramatically if you push them on a first inflation, they'll just get teardrop shaped on further inflations. If worked right, they still get nice and tight (but with a little "bounce" to the rubber), and will still inflate right up to the mouthpiece as you near the pop, just without a super long distinct neck shape.
TLDR version: if a balloon is blown up really to the max in the right way, it can still inflate right up to the nozzle, but without a long "separate" neck!

Great photo! Love the way it is maxed out so tight and huge. I do understand your dislike of pre-necking, although I like it both ways.Last edited by BusterBill; 27-07-2020, 03:51.Comment
