I do it as often as possible, and to me personally its very comfortable and gives me pleasant dreams. I usually just use one in my underwear or sweat pants. However i also have wild nights where i come home a lil tipsy from a night out, and i would find myself the next morning with 4 in my pants and 2 in my shirt not knowing exactly what happened.
Sometimes thats maybe a good thing

have slept with balloons now and again, tried to sleep on top of a doll one naked but it just turns me on after a while lol

I'm sleeping naked, but sometimes I'm going to bed with a tightly inflated condom. I like them, because are soft, and doesn't snap when pops on naked body.
I can fall asleep with this condom balloon between my thighs only when I'm tired, otherwise I'm too much excited...
Sometimes condom balloon pops when I'm sleeping, but not always it wake me up.

I don't if it counts, but I have tried lucid dreaming in my inflatable latex suit
I lie on my back in the fully inflated suit
Once the rythms in my earphones starts to work it feels like i am floating off in the suit
(you get sort of the same feeling of pressure wearing inflatable latex as a balloon stuffed under your clothe)
