    Re: Dunnage bag riding

I saw one sitting in the back of a semi-trailer that was sitting in a parking lot the other day. Had it not been the middle of the day or my car full of family, I probably would have snagged it.

According to their website the polythene is 62 microns or 248 gauge. Fully inflated, it took my weight and proved to be a really nice ride
Damm it lol, are they easy to remove the outer cover from? I'd like to try these tbh, are they strong?

Yes, you just need to cut along the top of the outer cover. Just don't do it too far down, or you'll cut into the inner bag. They are pretty strong. You would have to be quite rough with them to pop them.

Yeah it's like making balloons out of other items. A lot of people don't know about it until someone mentions it. For example, latex inner tubes, latex cast covers, latex rebreather bags & latex gauntlets & stockings. All make great balloons. I love trying new stuff

Received yesterday an order of 6 dunbags. Removed the outer cover quick and easy. Had some fun with it, could hold weight of 110kg. So they are sturdy and tough. But the texture (like a cheap plastic bag from the shop) isn’t really my thing. But it was cheap. Around 30 euros for 6 pieces in different sizes. I do prefer more just latex structure or vinyl like the ride rolls from shosu (Amsterdam) which are fantastic or exercise balls. But if your into these materials plastic bag material I would recommend it…. .

                Re: Dunnage bag riding

Here is another picture of a cargo tuff bag. As I mentioned before, the polythene is softer on these than other types & not the hard crinkly stuff.

As dunnage bags, they have a maximum reccomended use of 6 times and they have a label on the valve that is marked (or punched) after each use. This one has had the maximum 6 uses but is still going strong.

I just love playing with them. They get so tight when riding. I feel so relieved that I got to ride them rather than somone just bursting them and dumping them.

Have you tried inflate them tight before riding? Can they carry your weight then?

Might try selling a few on E-Bay. I have about 20 of them now, which is more than I need

                          Amozon do a huge 48" x 96" one, but at UK£ 53.72 each, I don't think I'll bother 😉
