Looner map
Saw this on Facebook. Someone made a website where you can find other looners. Pretty interesting to see who is near you. The only way to view is by registering and confirming you are a looner. Kind of a neat concept. Some people put very specific information. Others are more vague.

Depending on how busy the person who runs the map is, it's usually a couple of days or so. Not long really, in the grand scheme of things.

I've been waiting 3 days for approval, so can't verify if it's genuine yet or not.

I can confirm that the Looner Map is definitely legitimate. The looner who created it a few months ago is a frequent traveler for business, so his responsiveness to adding new members varies from overnight to several days, depending on his travel schedule and availability. It may take awhile before you hear from him, but you will hear from him eventually. Have faith

Re: Looner map
I got added about 4 days after requesting, so it can take a while.

Re: Looner map
I remember something similar. I thing it was on balloonbuddies or chipple's site? To be honest, there are looners everywhere, so I don't really see the point ;-)

It was via the BalloonBuddies. As for the point, it's meant to be a way for looners to connect with one another, and see where they live around the globe. It's a fun idea, but I'm not sure what purpose it will serve in the long run.
