    Thickness or is it thinness?

Taking, say, a regular 11in/12in party balloon from the packet, the thickness of the latex can be no more than about a mm thick. When air is blown/pumped into the balloon the latex obviously starts to get thinner. I have often wondered how 'thick or is it thin' the latex measures when as b2p'ers say, 'another half breath & there will be shards everywhere'. Not something really any of us can measure. The fully stretched latex must be wafer thin or even thinner & can't be measured. Any thoughts of a solution?

Usually when I feel the balloon getting hard,is a good indication the loon will bust soon

When the sound of air entering the balloon changes that's usually when I'll stop!

ask dr grelka on fetlife (blowing fetishists unite forum), he runs the inflation laboratory and he does all sorts of pressure measurements. he might know about latex thickness.
