    Telling parents?

    Hey guys,
So I’m on the pretty young side of the looner community, I live with my parents and I pretty much can only have a balloon session while they’re gone. I know I’m gonna have to tell my parents about the fetish eventually, but I’m afraid they’re gonna get mad at me or just think that I’m joking. Should I even tell my parents in the first place?
I love math and I love LOONS!!!!

I'm 36 and never told my parents. I'm sure they figured out there was something going on at some point but I never told them and never will. I got called out by my best friend's mom when I was younger. I swear she is part gypsy though. The only person I've told is my wife.

I personally don't see a reason to tell them either. It propably would be a really awkward conversation and I don't see many benefits.
If you are worried about access to balloons without telling your parents you could actually use your age as an advantage. For example I casually asked my parents to get me some balloons for school. If they ask about specifics just tell them you need it for a art or physics/science project (these were subjects we actually used balloons in). If you are worried she might get suspicious if you just ask for balloons ask for some random extra items like duct tape or toothpicks in addition to the balloons.

You don't really need to tell them, if you want you can try, but if your parents are the type of parents that will use anything you like against you, is better to don't tell them nothing. Just think, if they have used things you like as grounding type of material, or to punish you in the past, then don't ,whatever happens don't.

After 14 years of abuse and my mum knowing and destroying what I loved every opportunity and using it to instill a phobia into me my advice would be do not tell your parents. Its bad enough telling a partner but if a partner doesn't work out you can find another. Parents are harder to break away from. Especially when you are so young. I left home at your age amid abuse and trust me it's a hard world out there. I am not saying in any way your parents are or would be abusive I'm simply saying there is no need for them to know and besides it would be awkward telling them In the first place about your sex life. You may find they are aware you like balloons anyway just not necessarily how much you like them

I never told anyone, including parents. Revealing sexual desires like that is embarrassing. At your age, and even younger I would get helium balloons from birthday parties or events, and would ride, hump, and rub them up against my crotch in the privacy of my bedroom. No one ever found out that is what I was doing with them. I was very careful not to pop them when anyone was home.

I would not tell them, but neither would I tell them anything else related to your sexual desires. I mean... why should you?

Sexual desires are for sexual discussions and situations.

You will regret if you go ahead with it.

                        Re: Telling parents?

I agree with all of the above. DON'T involve your parents in your sex life. It's hard enough for many of them to have "the talk" with their children - being told details is way past the comfort zone of most anyone. It would be the same as saying "Dad, I masturbate to pictures of nekkid ladies in high heels" and where do you go from there?
All parents have been teenagers. They know there's stuff done in private - prolly done it themselves. "Don't ask, don't tell" is the general rule, so I'd advise you to keep enjoying your things whenever you're comfortable with it, even if it means waiting for the right moment. Fantasizing about balloons can be a substitute when you can't make noise. (People who just enjoy regular, vanilla porn have the same problem - can't watch it with speakers on when not alone.)
We've been there. We know the fear of being found out, but trust me that telling those secrets will not make things feel better. If your parents aren't exceedingly understanding, it will make matters significantly worse. They might even want you to see a psychologist, and that's one of the less awkward scenarios...

But good luck! This phase will pass, and things will get easier to handle with time. Just be careful with your most intimate secrets - they can so very easily be used to hurt you, even unintentionally.

Ok so heres my take on it, unless your parents are, left wing liberal athiest lgbt supporting accepting awesome people like mine are, then D O N T, my mom found out when I was like 15 and after some slight accepting I literally kept gls out in the open for years when I was able to afford them

Keep this private - telling anyone anything sexual is a bad idea unless it is someone you want to something sexual with.

I've only told one friend, I'm not really sure why, it was a long time ago.
