    Re: Frankenloons

What I have right now is just simple rubber cement from bicycle inner tube fix kit.
If the balloons work I'll post details on how I've done it.
    Testing & result soon!

      Re: Frankenloons

I am new here so hello everyone.
I find it hard to discard balloons even when they have burst, unless they are the small 12" type. The balloons I save I glue together and make Frankenstein balloons from them. My most recent is from a doll balloon that burst way too early, I am using the neck section and have created a very stretchable 18-20" balloon from it. Lock down prevents me from trying it out. In the past I have glued 36" rounds to the end of a GL500, that was amazing.
I use copydex glue it works well. Anyone else do the same?

For anyone still coming to this thread, I did some more research and it's definitely rubber cement. Val Efremova (Oxana's husband) does a lot of experimental stuff with balloons, and I found his "Frankenloons" he posted about on Facebook. Definitely recommend checking out some of his earlier posts if you want a bit of a DIY on it

LoonerJeff, can you please share a link for his FB post?

Some photos of my last creations!
Hopefully tomorrow I can get some rubber cement.
I also ordered eyelashes extension glue since most of them are latex based. I'll give that a try too.

How big will it go? Only one way to find out...

Is it possible to get a link to this video?

The joins look so professional. Is that the way Geo donuts and blossoms are made?

No... There is a patented mold/former you can search for it on line somewhere

I have found the original one

Also this one could be interesting as a key chain:

Hmm 20 years I wonder if that patent is valid? I may have to try to model one of those.
