How do you clean sprinkler balls?

Once you've inserted yourself into the ball and came inside of it, how do you clean it so it's good to go for next time?

I just use a washcloth, get it up in there as far as I can. I use the washcloth from the shower to clean all my inflates (and honestly anything else that gets spoo on it), just run it under the hot water and wring it out when I'm done.
