I usually wear glasses (not safety-glasses, they look horrible) to protect my eyes. Sometimes I wear earplugs, especially when intending to pop big balloons on my own.

Its good safety glasses wouldn't be needed lol, but yes some eye wear seems like its safer for btp of like 24" and when are you planning on popping balloons not on your own I would love to be there , ear plugs or none, I would .

Earplugs, some of those 16" and 24" are dang loud.

I wear eye protection with cheap plastic goggles. So I usually hold my ears. I know some people like the bang, but I like the tension leading to it better. I’m deathly afraid of the pop though.

I usually close simply my eyes when the balloon feels much too tight :-)

i like to cover my eyes to b2p so they don't get hit, so i normally put sunglasses on to do it. got to see that huge balloon disappear into a thousand pieces

Haha, I can relate to this

Normally I use neither, but with figurine balloons I sometimes wear glasses as these balloons tend to pop back into my face. I guess the reason is that their weaker points are where the sections meets the “main body”. For example mouse ear balloons often ruptur between the ears sending the balloon back to slap my face. I can’t help blowing them anyway, because it is exciting that they get tight whenever a new section is about to start. Besides they get surprisingly big, before they “give in”

Neither! I love to watch them pop, and listen too!! Although I do enjoy being blindfolded while someone teases me with a balloon, not knowing when they might pop it. Does that count? lol
