    Omnikin latex bladders

I just ordered some Omnikin latex bladders.

The 14-24" latex bladder with athletic valve. It is a thick heavy bladder that weighs 200 grams and is 12 liters in size. Attached is the bladder with the athletic valve removed. I have added an standard inflation nozzle so that it can be inflated by mouth. This inflates easily past 24". In comparison the 47" cattex is 180 grams in weight.

The 40- 48" regular latex bladder is 1mm thick latex! It weighs 345 grams and is 30 liters in size. The picture showing the valve is inflated to 40" and the second is inflated to 47" and was still under inflated. In comparison the cattex 72" weighs 350 grams.

Can it hold a person riding or laying on it? I bet it can take a wild ride.

Have always wanted to try one of these since I discovered them. But the cost is a deal breaker for me.

I keep seeing people using those plugs/valves for large balloons. Where do you buy them please? I am in the UK.
          Just one more puff...🎈

yes they hold your weight. I would say they are more like a soft exercise ball. I add an sph to make it a humpaloon.

I can't remember where I bought it. Several balloon stores have carried them as accessories. You have to buy it when you find them because they always sell out quickly.

Such a shame that it would be nearly $100 au by the time I got one of the 48” ones here. I so want to buy one. But just can’t at that cost.

I’ve checked and can’t find any local places that sell them either.

there's a pretty good gas sampling bladder sold by amazon ($20 usd)

they get quite big, but probably not as big as the one pictured
the one i got had a few minor defects, but it was manageable
word of caution: the white gas sampling bladders with the seams suck, because they barely blow up, and burst easily (plus they reek)

finally ordered a couple of these. will have to live frugally for a while to offset that price though.

i'm a mix of excited and apprehensive. here's hoping they'll turn out to be worth it!
