I bought some tuftex 14" that were exactly like this as well. Any idea why it happens or if there is a way of getting normal TT14s to be like that? It's crazy how much softer they are than normal TT14s.

Re: Your biggest Tuftex 17”
I think it’s got something to do with the dye that’s used. Only the yellow ones were like that. The red ones were extra tight.
Think I’ve already posted this here before, but that’s how big it got fresh out of the pack.

Wow that neck is insanely big, I found with old tuftex balloons that if they don’t pop prematurely, the ones that survive reach crazy big sizes. Had this week some red ones reaching 22” on first inflation they felt so soft and smooth and never get hard no matter how much I blow, so when that happens to me I like find a unicorn :3

Amazing - that neck on the Yellow is brilliant and I'd love to feel and fondle it. Did it take much punishment before you sent it (possibly) to Balloon Heaven?

PS. I thought I would take another pic after 20 more blows, but the balloon popped just as I put on the clip, so the balloon in the pic isn't (wasn't) at its biggest. I'll try to do better another time (but it made a cool bang *giggles*)

Re: Your biggest Tuftex 17”
Decided to inflate one of those TT 14s that I had, the one on the left is one of the really soft ones, on the right is just a normal TT 14. I feel like the left one could definitely get bigger but I didn't want to push it, it was still incredibly soft and squishy at that size whereas the normal one was very firm. Both of these were on their 3rd inflation too. Just wish I could find some more that were as soft!
