    What was the red balloon made of? (CW: balloon popping)

    Does anyone know what fabric the red balloon in the film was made of? I'm thinking it can't be latex, as I don't think latex blisters like that upon taking damage... nor do I think it pops that way.

      I once painted an inflated balloon with liquid latex and when it deflated, it looked like that :-)
