Default Do different gasses used affect balloon shape
Is it just me or do I realize that helium filled balloons makes them more pear shaped where as regular air filled balloons are more round?

It's just you. Gases don't affect shape. It's the quantity of whatever you are filling the balloon with, that will distort it. Whether it be helium, air, oxygen, or something else, shouldn't make any real difference. The more you pump in of your chosen gas, the more it'll distort the balloon, until it pops, or you stop inflating it.
